50% Cash Rebate
In 2019 the Government of Russian Federation introduced foreign film industry rebate scheme "Russia Film Commission", which envisages 20-50% cash rebate on qualified expenses incurred in Russia for international and local production companies.
"Russia Film Commission" was jointly initiated by the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation and state-funded Russian Export Centre. The scheme is implemented by Federal & Regions of Russia.
The main objective of the newly launched initiative is to introduce and promote Russia as a filming destination as well as to further support the already flourishing Russian film industry by attracting more international production houses to the country. "Russia Film Commission" coupled with the country's geographic and architectural diversity, business-friendly environment and highest level of filming professionals ensures pleasant and productive filmmaking process.
